As summer is winding down, so are all the festivals and summertime events here in the city. One of our favorite stops for lunch during the week is Civic Center EATS, a food truck event in Downtown Denver from 11am to 2pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Since this is a summer event series, it is starting to wrap up with only a month left of serving up that mouth watering, hand crafted food we have come to love, ending the first week of October. We highly recommend you grab a pack of Sativa Wana sour gummies to help you with that full belly from Civic Center EATs For more details, check out civiccenterconservancy.org/event-civic-center-eats!

If you are a fan of old carnival styled theme parks, then the Summer Scream at Lakeside Amusement Park hosted by the Denver Film Society this Thursday, September 1st is definitely worth checking out. Summer Scream has been a fun evening of unlimited rides, open bars, and all around fun going on 6 years now. We highly recommend you grab a Leafs by Snoop strawberries & waffle chocolate bar and make it down to this evening of amusement park fun. For more details or to purchase tickets, check out denverfilm.org/filmcenter.

This weekend is also the long awaited, Taste of Colorado starting this Friday, September 2nd, through Monday, September 5th. This free admission event is a great way to get outside and enjoy the end of summer while also getting to eat off of Downtown Denver’s largest menu! With  more than 50 of Colorado’s favorite restaurants and eateries featuring dishes that range from small bites to full plates along with 5 stages playing live music to serenade you as you dive into your culinary choices. We highly recommend you pack your PAX with some tasty Larry OG, a happy hybrid from DANK, and make it down for a day (or two) of this amazing culinary experience! Or if you feel like spending your labor day in the mountains, the Labor Day Lift Off in Colorado Springs is this weekend starting Saturday, September 3rd, through Monday, September 5th. This weekend of festivities will begin each day with a “lift off” of over 50 hot air balloons ascending into the sky while you enjoy breakfast and drinks from local venders, and events will continue throughout the day including live music, skydiving demos, wake boarding exhibits and so much more. Saturday and Sunday will end with a Balloon Glow and Concert. We highly recommend you sit back and relax with some of our favorite blueberry CBD Chill Pills from the Growing Kitchen and take in the majesty of the Labor Day Lift Off.
