JANUARY 30TH – FEBRUARY 5TH

With Valentine’s day just a week away, why not prepare for the upcoming holiday at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science’s Sex in the Sea event this Thursday, February 2nd, starting at 7:00 pm. At this seminar, you will receive an education from Marah J Hardt, scientist, storyteller, and author of Sex in the Sea: Our Intimate Connection with Sex-Changing Fish, Romantic Lobsters, Kinky Squid, and Other Salty Erotica of the Deep. There will be no lack of intrigue as she talks about elaborate mating rituals and far out sex acts that take place under the sea. Gear up and dive into where life’s been perfecting procreative creativity the longest, and find out why it matters that we might be causing some serious coitus interruptus in the deep blue sea. We Highly Recommend that you pick up some delicious Larry OG, an indica leaning hybrid, from DANK before heading down to the Denver Nature & Science Museum for the Sex in the Sea event! If you are looking to kick off the month with an early Mardi Gras celebration, then you will definitely want to check out the Off the Clock: Cajun Carnival this Friday, February 3rd, at the Denver Botanic Gardens starting at 6:00 pm. There will be live music to cut a rug to by the Fat City Mardi Gras Band and Queen City Jazz Quintet, as well as tarot card readings, Mardi Gras mask making stations, specialty dinners, and hundreds of exotic blooms at the Orchid Showcase in the Orangery. We Highly Recommend that you pick up a Keef Cola Ginger Mule soda at PURE to give you nice little buzz before you go out and get down at the Off the Clock: Cajun Carnival at the Denver Botanic Gardens. For those of you looking for something cost efficient, yet cultural, this Saturday, February 4th, is Penny Saturday at the Museum of Contemporary Art in downtown Denver! With admittance for only a penny,  you can explore all the incredible and unique installations that the MCA has to offer, including works by Bodacioussss, Nathan Carter, and Kim Dickey. Or swing by the Denver Art Museum for Free First Saturday to see the works displayed there including the Star Wars: and the Power of Costume exhibit that is only in Denver for a limited time. We Highly recommend that you get in touch with your creative side with a little Jack Flash from the Clinic before you head down to either the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art or the Denver Art Museum! For more details on exhibits and hours,  click here.

This weekend is also the long-awaited Superbowl 2017, with the Patriots taking on the Falcons on Sunday, February 5th! There will be plenty of options on where to enjoy the game whether you decided to venture out to your favorite bar, head over to a friend’s house, or just keep it close to home! We Highly Recommend that you stop at The Herbal Cure to pick up some Sour Tangie and then PURE to pick up a syringe and some solventless hash to make yourself a SUPER bowl or blunt for the big game!
