The sun is finally shining and it feels great to be in the beautiful city of Denver, Colorado. With Spring finally settling in, the city is starting to pick up in activity. The parks are filling up with people wanting to enjoy the fresh air, and more and more events are starting to take place. We would like to bring to you all of the fun things that are going on locally here in the Mile High City! With so many things to do, we want to share with you all of the events that we give the City Sessions Seal of Approval to and where you will most likely find the Ladies of City Sessions when we aren’t out touring and showing people an amazing experience.
This week in the Community of Cannabis, people are starting to gear up and plan their adventure out to the Mile HIGH City for World Cannabis Week which kicks off this Friday the 15th! With so much going on this weekend, we are probably the most excited for the Official 420 Rally this Saturday the 16th. Civic Center Park will be packed with stoners, vendors and activities from 10am to 10pm. The Rally will also be featuring Wiz Kalifa and Lil Wayne among other entertainers to keep the crowd groovin. Entry tickets are free online at 420rally.com with the options of purchasing Backstage and VIP Passes. I highly recommend you take a stroll through Downtown Denver to the Civic Center park and join in the food, fun, and 420 festivities with your buddies this Saturday!
To feed the inner Foodie, this Sunday, April 17th, we Highly recommend strolling down beautiful Downtown Boulder to sample the Culinary Art scene at Boulder’s Taste of Pearl. With 15 vendors each crafting a dish paired with a Colorado wine, all striving to give you an amazing culinary experience, how can you not be tempted? As you feast, I would take time to check out the vibrant galleries and retail shops that the Pearl Street Mall has to offer. This event has a limited number of tickets that are being sold online for $65 at Boulderdowntown.com (and will go up to $70 if purchased at the event).
To Fuel in inner Cowboy, we Highly recommend checking out the Rodeo All-Star Weekend at the National Denver Complex. This ultimate pro rodeo event celebrates the sports of rodeo with a little competition, music, and entertainment! With festivities on the 15th and 16th and the finales on Sunday the 17th, this is a great way to get outside and enjoy a little old fashioned western fun!
