This week the Ladies of City Sessions encourage you to get out and explore your (or any) neighborhood in Denver and get to know the community at Denver Days that began on Sunday, July 31st, and goes through next Sunday, August 7th. Started three years ago when Mayor Hancock wanted to encourage the residents of Denver to get to know their neighbors to help build the community. Civic Center Park will be hosting Civic Center EATS (Tuesday – Thursday from 11m-2pm), Civic Center Moves (Free Fitness Classes), and Civic Center Movies (Pee Wee’s Big Adventure on Wednesday Aug 3rd at dusk). We Highly recommend you puff on some frosty Cindy 99 from DANK and get out and get to know your neighbors during Denver Days this week! For more details check out your neighborhoods facebook page or denvergov.org/…/denver-days.

To get out and find your balance, check out the Denver Yoga Festival at the Oxford Hotel and plaza of Union Station starting Thursday, August 4th, through Sunday, August 7th. All about mindfulness, meditation, and of course yoga. With a more intimate setting, this whole event is easily walkable with both indoor and outdoor venues. With fun events including yoga brunch, yoga on Coors Field, a fashion show, and workshops galore. We highly recommend that you munch on a CBD Peach Ring from Highly Edibles and make it down to Union Station for the Denver Yoga Festival. For more details, check out denveryogafestival.com.

If you are still interested in the yoga, but also want to get out of the city and enjoy the mountains and incredible live music, the Arise Festival in Loveland, Colorado is this weekend from Friday, August 5th, through Sunday, August 7th. With 7 stages of live music, yoga, workshops, art installations and with over 100 acres of beautiful mountain valley campsites, there will be no shortage of fun and festivities.
