DECEMBER 12TH – 18TH

With the snow finally settling into Colorado, it’s time to start heading up to enjoy winter in the mountains. Breckenridge, an old mining town that we are huge fans of, has finally opened up for the season! There is plenty to explore while you are in this fun-loving town tucked into the Rockies, including skiing or snowboarding, snowmobile, snowshoeing, enjoying a craft brew at the Breckenridge Brewery, or just taking in the town itself! Making it to Breck is a great way to dive into the spirit of winter and to get a feel for the Colorado good life. We Highly recommend that you stock up on some Coda Hot Chocolate on a Stick to keep you warm and elevated as you explore the mountains and the beautiful town of Breckenridge! The Holidays are fast approaching and if you still have a few gifts you need to pick up, why not keep it local and shop at the first Annual RiNo-Made Pop-up Market this Wednesday, December 14th, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. This event will have one-of-a-kind items from fine art to jewelry, specialty food items, and other handmade works for you to peruse. The temporary pop-up space for this event will be next to First Draft on 26th Street, in between Larimer and Walnut. The RiNo Art District is known for its concentration of artists and makers of diverse products and goods so you are sure to find that perfect and unique gift that you have been looking for. We Highly recommend you stop by DANK to pick up some Platinum OG, a feel-good hybrid, to get you nice and relaxed as you wander through the 1st Annual RiNo Made Pop-up Market! For you lovers of local craft brews, this Saturday, December 17th, is the 5th Annual Denver [only] Beer Festivus at the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. This event brings together over 50 craft breweries that are based out of Denver so you can get all the best the city has to offer under one roof! This year they have expanded to be better than ever, and will still be drizzled with some light references to the Seinfeld-created holiday by encouraging attendees to air their grievances, participate in Feats Of Strength and pay some respect to the Festivus pole. At the end of the day, this is a great way to explore Denver’s ever-growing craft beer culture and to raise a toast to the amazing people behind it! We Highly recommend you pick up some Red Rescue Water from PURE to help ease the hangover after you have explored and celebrated the 5th Annual Denver [only] Beer Festivus!
