The Fourth of July is just a week away and we are excited for all the activities to begin, backyard BBQs and fireworks are a few of our favorite things! Since the 4th falls on a Monday this year, many of the festivities will be held earlier over the weekend. Glendale will be doing their fireworks on Friday, July 1st, at dusk (about 9pm). We highly recommend you grab a delicious Firecracker bar from Incredibles and a blanket and find a comfortable seat at Creekside Park for an early celebration of our Independence! For more details check out glendale.co.us/Calendar.

This weekend is also the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, from July 2nd – 4th! Held at the Cherry Creek North Shopping District, from 2nd to 3rd Avenues between Clayton and Steele, this free world-class event celebrates the visual, culinary, and performing arts, bringing together thousands of people to educate and experience. We highly recommend that you load up your PAX with some of DANK’s Island Sweet Skunk (a happy Sativa) and make it down for a day or two of the Cherry Creek Arts Festival! For more information check out cherrycreekartsfestival.org.

Check out the Independence Eve fireworks at Civic Center Park on Sunday, July 3rd! The celebration begins with a concert featuring Chris Daniels and the Kings and the 101st Army Band from Buckley Air Force Base playing patriotic and contemporary favorites. We highly recommend that you pack your Jett Cannabis pen, some lawn chairs and a picnic (or enjoy some of the available concessions) and make it down to the Independence Eve celebration at Civic Center Park!
