November 28th – December 4th

With the Holidays now in full swing, the First Friday Art walks are a great place to find that unique gift you’ve been looking for. This Friday, December 2nd, is the last First Friday of 2016 and if you haven’t stopped by to check one out, what better time than now? From 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm many of Denver’s art districts’ galleries will be open with live music and food, as well as opportunities to buy pieces straight from the artist! We Highly recommend you pick up some Panama Punch from The Clinic, in either bud or budder, to keep you feeling uplifted and creative while you explore the final First Friday of 2016! If you are a big fan of the Zoo and enjoy intricate holiday lighting, then you won’t want to miss out on Zoo Lights which begins this Friday, December 2nd, at 5:30 pm and will continue nightly through New Year’s Day. Zoo Lights is one of Denver’s most anticipated annual holiday events and sure to draw a crowd! There will be illuminated animal sculptures that come alive, nightly entertainment, and so much more to keep you exploring the Denver Zoo after dark. We Highly recommend that you stock up on some Space Queen, a sweet and cheesy sativa, from DANK to keep you smiling and giggly while you explore Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo. For those of you who are filled to the brim with holiday cheer, come Downtown for the Denver Parade of Lights this Friday, December 2nd, and Saturday, December 3rd. This two-hour-long parade will feature marching bands, lit up floats, and a special guest appearance by Santa and his penguin buddy. The parade will be starting at Civic Center Park down to Tremont and will go up to 17th to Arapahoe and then will head back towards the park via 15th street. If you decide to enjoy the view from outside, we Highly recommend you pick up a Hot Chocolate on a Stick by Coda to keep you feeling warm and elevated while you enjoy the splendor of the Parade of Lights. If the cold is not for you, try the view from a Downtown Denver bar or restaurant and pick up a box of Forte Chocolates by Coda to give those lights a little extra twinkle.
