This past Saturday morning I found myself with The Guide in hand trying to figure out where to go for brunch. Denver’s crazy brunch scene can be discouraging, with wait times up to an hour and a half. 11:30am and starving, I suggested we check out The Grubbery. In about 10 minutes we arrived from downtown Denver and were comfortably seated in a booth. The atmosphere was welcoming and modern and our server was fun. I built my own omelet, which came with a side of fresh fruit and crunchy hashbrowns. My friend had an egg sandwich with bacon, cheese and avocado on a croissant. We could not have been more pleased with the food and the experience. Upon checkout we presented The Guide and our bill was adjusted accordingly with the offer – Buy One Entrée Get One Free. I love this offer!

Before meeting the man behind The Grubbery and before The Guide, I was clueless that this eatery even existed. Now that I know, I will certainly be back, not only for brunch but to try their lunch and dinner menu. I recommend venturing to the historic Scott’s Liquid Gold Building at 4880 Havana St. to have your own dining experience at The Grubbery!
