We had such a fun end to the 420 week with good people, good music and good greens. Thankfully all the snow melted away and 4/20 turned out to be beautiful and sunny, and the weather even carried through the weekend. And what better way to celebrate the impending summer than at Elitch Gardens Theme Park’s opening day this Saturday, April 30th. We are ready to get our thrills on with some of our favorite rides like the Brain Drain and the Mind Eraser. The park is open from 10am till 8pm. We Highly recommend you throw on a Sativa patch or eat a couple gummies before making it out to Elitch Gardens for a fun filled day of thrills!
If you are from Denver, you know how much we love Bernie Sanders! With tag lines like “Bern one Down” found on dispensary swag and the huge turnout in support of Bernie for the Colorado Democratic Caucus, we just can’t seem to get enough of him! If you feel like showing your support, we Highly recommend making it out to BERNfest this Tuesday, April 26th, that runs from 6pm to 12:30am at the Oriental Theater. This eighteen-and-up grassroots show has a suggested donation of $20 at the door, and all donations will go directly to the Bernie Sanders campaign. This show will have incredible local musicians, guest speakers, a voter registration station and live results from the Super Tuesday primaries. We highly recommend coming out to show Bernie that Colorado Feels the Bern!
Have you ever feel like experiencing the Denver Art Museum in a different light? Then we highly recommend that you make it out to one of the Untitled Final Fridays, the museum’s monthly late night program that features workshops, performances, and tours with a twist. This month’s installment, Untitled: Showdown, will be an extension of the Samurai exhibit and will be an evening full of spectacular face-offs, heroic tales and victorious orchestrations. This event is included with regular museum admissions, and is free to members, and will begin at 6pm and go until 10pm.
For all those foodies out there, the marquess craft beer and culinary pairing event of the year is coming up this Saturday, April 30th. BrüFrou (pronounced Broo Froo) is a gathering of 80 local brewers and chefs collaborating on 50+ unique pairings to delight the senses. This event will be taking place at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, a WWII-era hangar in the Lowry community of Denver. The Tickets go for $95 with two sessions to choose from, one from 1-4pm and the other from 5-8pm. We highly recommend you smoke some Sativa’s to get the munchies rolling, and head on down to this culinary extravaganza to treat your palate!
