With predictions of our first 90+ degree day of the year hitting us this week, we at City Sessions are so excited for all of the fun summer events that are starting to take place, including festival season! This Saturday, June 11th, is the unofficial kick off to festival season with the LoHi Music Festival at Fiddler’s Green in Denver, which is an amazing outdoor urban arts and music extravaganza. This year’s theme is Space Odyssey with a recommendation to dig out your galactic gear and dress the part. The event takes place from 11am to 10pm with 2 stages blasting high energy music from performers including Hot Buttered Rum, Poor Man’s Whiskey and The New Mastersounds. Tickets are selling from $32 for general admission with the option of purchasing VIP tickets. We Highly recommend smoking a little Smile (hybrid strain) from Live Green Cannabis and making it down to Fiddler’s Green for this outdoor spectacular. The opening weekend for the 40th Annual Colorado Renaissance Festival kicks off on Saturday, June 11th! Walk through the village, filled with aromas of roasted turkey legs, steak on a stake, and an array of baked goods, you feel like you have stepped through time into the 16th century. You can enjoy watching a joust, flirt with the fairies or watch artisans create original works of their ancient craft. This family friendly event will be going on through August 7th for nine weeks of fun and festivities. We Highly recommend you eat a couple pieces of a KIND bar from DANK and make it down the Larkspur, CO for this magical trip through time and legend. This event is a great place for people show what they are making, and share what they are learning. Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to scientists to garage tinkerers. The aim is to entertain, inform, connect and grow this community! We highly recommend you take a Sativa Wonderland capsule from PURE and wander in wonder at all the incredible inventions from metal sculptures to robots!
