This year TheBigWonderful is taking the show on the road and will be rotating between 5 different locations around the city. This weekend, May 27th – May 29th, will be the Opening weekend for both Stanley Marketplace in Aurora and Geneva Park in Littleton. The other locations will include the traditional location at Sustainability Park in RiNo, 16th St. Mall between Welton and California streets, and an undisclosed location near Mile High Stadium on Old West Colfax in the Sun Valley neighborhood. We are so happy that this amazing multi-faceted festival experience is expanding to other neighborhoods! This Saturday, May 28th, is going to be the Denver Day of Rock! This free event will be taking place along 16th St Mall featuring 5 different stages playing live music all day. The event will be benefiting the Amp The Cause, a Denver-based nonprofit organization that actively supports over 50 child-focused health and education organizations annually. We highly recommend you eat a couple sativa edibles that really make you feel the music and head down to the Denver Day of Rock. Although this event is free, you have the option of purchasing VIP Passes that include hosted catering and open bar access at five VIP lounges throughout the event. For all you Cider-lovers, the inaugural Pressed Conference will be happening this Saturday, May 28th! This first of its kind outdoor cider festival celebrates Rocky Mountain cideries will be going on from 2 to 5pm with tastings, music, food trucks and more! This event is $40 for unlimited tastings of the ciders from 20 participating cideries and will be taking place at the Highlands Masonic Event Center off of Federal and 35th. All attendees will be greeted with a full tasting glass of Molly’s Barrel Aged Cider from Colorado Cider Company to welcome them to the festival. For those who enjoy locally made art, the 4th annual ArtStir Denver will be taking place on Saturday, May 28th, and Sunday, May 29th at the Denver Pavilions between 15th and 16th street on Glenarm place. This event will be coinciding with the Day of Rock at 16th St Mall. In addition to artists booths, there will be a variety of food and drink vendors in the Colorado Craft Lot from Denver Pavilions restaurants including Hard Rock Cafe Denver, Maggiano’s Little Italy and Grimaldi’s Pizzeria.
