Since we have finally entered May, it is time again for First Friday (which happens on the 1st Friday of the month) in the Sante Fe Art District. This Art Walk is a great event where you can enjoy over 60 participating galleries, artist studios and restaurants that will be showcasing their works from 6 to 9pm with music, refreshments and food trucks. There are free guided shuttle coaches that can pick you up at the light rail station on 10th Ave & Osage St and ferry you around the Art District between 5:30 and 10pm. Another cool event for lovers of the arts would be The Denver Film Society’s Reel Social Club Shorts Fest presented by LivWell Enlightened Health on Friday, April 6th, and Saturday, April 7th. The Reel Social Club (RSC) is the Denver Film Society’s young professional group that includes programming, events, and cultural experiences with aims to build a community seeking new and innovative storytelling with stimulating social events. With music videos, narratives, documentaries, animation, and genre films, the RSC Shorts Fest is art abbreviated.
