Does June 29th have special significance to you? Tonight I will be honoring the late Farah Fawcett at The Squeaky Bean’s 1st annual FARRAH-mony. It has been 5 long years since Farrah’s passing, but Johnny Ballen will ensure that she is never forgotten.
The Squeaky Bean’s owner, Johnny Ballen, has put a great amount of thought and details into the quirky charm of his restaurant. From the menu to the décor, this restaurant is a feast for the senses. You are greeted by memorial shrines of celebrities passed, dry ice infused cocktails and farm to table cuisine with a twist. You can do this when you actually own the farm! A meal at The Squeaky Bean will be the most memorable and creative that you will encounter in Denver.
A couple of weeks ago I spoke with the mastermind behind this interesting event and he said “Farrah’s passing was overshadowed by Michael Jackson’s passing. Plus she’s hot, so why not have an event.” Crush, anyone – anyone? In honor Johnny’s first love, Farrah Fawcett, The Squeaky Bean will be offering $5 Farrah Squeaky Spritzes and $5 Farrah food specials from 4pm-10pm.
