City Sessions Denver was recently invited to tour the facility of Dixie Elixirs and Edibles. This past September Dixie moved into a state of the art facility located in the industrial district east of Denver proper. I have always had the impression that edible companies were operating out of a basic kitchen environment. Man, was I wrong! At the state of the art facility, there were two scientists and a full production team tasked at creating the Dixie Elixirs and Edibles products. The facility itself includes a lab, an industrial kitchen, two high tech C02 extraction machines and a conveyor belt for bottling. The process of making the vase Dixie product line has been dialed in by their scientist to produce properly dosed edibles, tinctures, and elixirs. With new edible regulations being enforced as of February 1, Dixie is busy preparing to roll out their new compliant recreational line. No longer do you have to worry about letting an edible or elixir ruining your weekend.
